Sigh on as sys and you'll see it in 8i. I don't think it is part of the 7.3.4
database, but then I haven't looked.

However you can query the view dba_tab_modifications
for checking when and how many
updates/deletes/inserts/truncate have been done on the
table. If this is enough, great, don't you think so ?.
