I used to use cable Internet, and never could get more than 2-3 megs into a download without the entire process grinding to a dead halt. I switched to DSL, and have successfully downloaded 9i for Linux twice, with no problems either time. I'm sure it's not a DSL vs Cable thing, but I wonder what the two ISPs are doing differently to account for this.
