Re: db won't mount

Henry,

Couple of immediate things come to mind you didn't mention:

(1) Is your archive destination full?
(2) I'm not sure at what point this file comes into play, but have you
removed any occurrence of lck<SID> file when the DB is shut down?

I'm sure others will have more (and probably much better) suggestions.
