Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> timed_os_statistics initSID.ora parameter
Does anyone know what this does? Sounds tantalizing.
I tried to set it in my initSID.ora file, but Oracle8.1.7. says it does not understand that parameter name.
It shows up when I ask the rdbms for parameter values, though.
prompt Global Parameter Values
column num format 999 heading 'Nbr'
column name format a41 heading 'Parameter Name'
column value format a37 heading 'Parameter Value'
select num,
name,
value
from v$parameter
order by name
