Hi

Starting with 8i you have the "filler"option in SQL*Loader control file, which does what you want. In older versions I don't think you can do it directly. Maybe ask Jared how to make a perl script to remove the column you don't want :-)

A very roundabout way is to load entire file into temp table and than do an insert as select from thru SQL*Plus.
