That is my point exactly. I can expand without offending some people or starting a
looooong thread. I just casually observed the different pronunciation's available and
chuckled to myself.

Here's how I hear it used:
yahoo (yah'-who) - interjection, an exclamation of wild exuberance
yahoo (yay'-who) - noun, a person of cloddish and ungenteel behavior, a dolt, a yokel
