Nixon,
It is based on your O/S block size.
If your O/S block size is 512 bytes then you would set the value
>4096 if want to chekpoint only at log switches for redo logs of size 2MB.
I think Windows NT block size is 512 bytes.

Hi,
I would like to know how the value in the log_checkpoint_interval is presented, is it in blocksize or is it based on other factor? If I have 2MB redo log size, what could be the appropriate value of log_checkpoint_interval.
Thanks in advance!
