FYI, I got one of these at home, but not at work.
At home I have logged into the oracle.server newsgroup, but never Jared's list.
At work I subscribe to Jared's list, but never went to the newsgroup.
This tells me that unless I received the e-mail at work as well and didn't notice, our addresses were lifted off the newsgroup and not this list.
Another reason why I don't like newsgroups all that much.
