Chaim,

thanks for the info - puzzlingly, however, when I went to the server which I'd quoted as being 8.0.5, I discovered I'd been mistaken, and it is in fact running 8.0.6. The Intelligent Agent on there is 8.0.6.0.0, so according to the compatibility matrix, my OEM 2.1 should be able to communicate with it! The mystery continues...
