That way, the blocks weren't reused. Not elegant, but it worked... I have created the temp table by select all the records (excluding the records in corrupted blocks) from corrupted table, and dropped the table, renamed the temp table back to original. After this when i run DBV on that file, it still shows there are some corrupted blocks in the file. i have two questions, 1> How do i calculate how many records i have lost? 2> How do i remove corrupted blocks from the blocks?
