RE: how much ram per oracle process?

Remember too, if people are using Forms or other GUI tools to connect, sometimes they open up two or three separate sessions. Designer does that, I think.

The amount of memory server side by each connection depends on the tool used, plus on the tools' version. I noticed that there were differences from version to version, so you almost have to test it yourself to see how much memory is used by default for each tool. Then (not sure about this) I think that the amount increases depending on the result sets that have to be transmitted back and forth.
