BBED isn't an option unless you can talk Oracle support into taking part in your experiment - unlikely. (Or perhaps find an appropriate WaReZ site! (8-o) Any hex editor will do if you aren't particular about exactly what you change in the block. If you know Oracle block internals you can get a lot more sophisticated in what you corrupt.
As for simply corrupting a block, I have done it even with good old
emacs/vi - as an experiment.
[WARNING: This isn't for the faint of heart! Don't try it with any database
you can't afford to lose or large data files!]
