sar -r reports available memory, averaged for today.
You can add start/end times also.
Or you can run it right now: sar -r 2 10,
tells sar to return memory information every 2 seconds,
and do that 10 times.
Sar also provides cpu utilization and disk activity data. Take a look at
the sar man pages for additional info provided by sar.
