FOR YOUR INFORMATION ESIS and EPFAL are now part of Logica. The Internet email addresses of the staff has changed to the following - lastnameinitial_at_logica.com eg SMITHK_at_logica.com. Emails using the old format will continue to be delivered until 30th June 2001.

Randy

I have posted a message about this before with no success. I have had a Metalink call logged with Oracle and that has been of no use either. I have tried every permutation of TZ and NLS_LANG values all with no luck.

I have sent a partial export to Oracle but they cannot seem to get round the problem either. Unfortunately I cannot speak directly with the source of the export because I believe it is an environment setting on their Unix server that is causing the mismatch.

Oracle do not seem to be much help on this, I hope someone on the list can offer more than them

John

                Subject: Problem with import

I have a database 8.1.7 personal and had a client send me an
export . When I
try the import I get the message

ORA-01874: time zone hour must be between -12 and 13.

I have never run across this before. What can I do to
resolve the issue?
                Thanks for you help.
