You could do a
man mailx
and find the information that will help you.
you could do this also:-
mailx -s "$MSG_TITLE" $MAIL_TO_ADDRESS <$FILE_WITH_MESSAGE_BODY
The above is assuming onl the subject and mailto and message file to be sent across.
But better you open the man page on mailx and you will be just fine.
