When I retired from the USAF, Lockheed offered a job in Saudi at what could only be described as an exorbitant salary ($150K plus) to go work as a C-130 Radar Tech. I was an extremely qualified AN/APN-59E Search Radar tech while in uniform. The only advice that they constantly talked about was going to Saudi ALONE. Take 2 years and do it solo. It took less resources on their part & was "less problematic" on your part. They also recommended going from your work area directly back to the enclosed compound they maintained, in their bus, to "remain out of trouble with the local officials".

To make a short story out of it, I declined the job and have been doing so with other similar offers ever since.

PS: Waleed, while I agree that this is not directly related to the lists purpose, it is a part of being an Oracle professional that one will get offers of employment in foreign nations and for some reason Saudi is a constantly reoccurring one.
