Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> OT: idle and non-idle waits on Unix
Hi,
do you know how to seperate non-idle waits from idle-waits in OS level. For example, we can accept cron waits as idle waits because of nothing to do until expiration; we can accept IO waits as idle because of waiting something to do.
or, can you send me a direction such as links, forums about this case.
thanks in advance...
