This sounds like a heap (memory) error. Check for system memory errors.

Hi,

One of our databases has just started producing the following errors over the weekend...

Errors in file
/Volumes/app/oracle/admin/dmps_tst/udump/dmps_tst_ora_16040.trc: ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kxsdmp()+188] [SIGBUS] [Invalid address alignment] [1679844977] [] []

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [17182], [2205248016], [], [], [], [], [], []

Another DBA I work with opened a TAR (1535656.999) but I was wondering if anyone else has seen this also? The database is at version 8.1.6.2 on Solaris 2.6.
