The earliest message from the list that I saved in my mail folder is dated 3-Aug-98, from the days when it was at Teleport (pre-predecessor of fatcity?). I assume that the list was present earlier than that time, so three years is probably right. The one from the 'oracledba' list at Mailinglist.net (predecessor of LazyDBA) was shortly after. That's a looong time as far as Listservs go (I think). Anyway, fantastic job Jared! And thanks for your time, patience and persistence.
