Are you talking about creating a wrapper around your PL/SQL code or using the wrap utility to "encrypt" the code. I for one would use both methods for stuff I want hidden from the customer, but there aren't any real gotcha's that I know of with this approach.

We are considering using wrappers to hide our PL/SQL code from customers.
Are there any issues to be aware of?..we need to implement on various Unix platforms.
