My understanding was that it will be in the keep pool until database close or until something else will push it from the pool ( if one has more blocks for keep pool than keep pool size) - not until session which used these block ends.

I do specify Buffer_pool_keep but I was under the impression that
you needed
to FTS the tables to get them into memory?

Why not just specify BUFFER POOL KEEP in an alter table statement?

What is the problem to write something like
Select * from <table_name> for all tables that you need or if there
are too
many such tables - create a new table with names of the tables and
use
dynamic SQL .

I was wondering if anyone knows how to create a
trigger that
would fire off
at database startup time and run a script to do full table
scans on

tables to get them into the buffer cache keep pool? Right
