The file has to be either fixed length or delimited. If it is then you would not have any problem.
Alternately you could try importing the text file in Excel (MS office product). Convert it to Excel and import from excel to Oracle using Oracle migration assistant.

Hi,
I have imported a text-file into a table in the database. Now I find that
there are many bad things in some fields, for instance there is a ? instead
of the value 0.
Can anyone give me a good example on a procedure that loops through a table
and if found a ? in some fields, replace it with a 0.?
