Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> skipping the <sid>java.sh step in database create
Hi,
If you are not using anything to do with Java is it then safe to skip running the <sid>java.sh script that dbassist creates during database creation in Oracle 8.1.7? This step takes forever and uses a lot of System tablespace.
