Migration from OAS to IAS

Hi gurus,
We plan on migrating all OAS applications to IAS. I did some reading on this and I have a question. We have a couple of OAS applications, each application belonging to a different Oracle user. Each application has its DAD pointed to its Oracle user.

On OAS, we didn't need to indicate a DAD in the URL; OAS recognized the appropriate DAD with the virtual path. With IAS, we must indicate the DAD in the URL. My question is:
Can we use the same URL with IAS as we did with OAS? I don't think we can because we have to indicate the DAD in the URL.

Am I right?
TIA
