need to run a scheduled task on the web app

gurus,

i need to run a scheduled task on the web application server 8ias w/c calls to a form and do updates on my database. but web application server didn't have an ifrun60.exe. so i try to install forms developer and lot of errors occur during installation. What do i need to do to run a task scheduled form in web application server?
