Thanks to all who replied.

This question got suddenly a nice twist: Oracle support told me, that probably - I have to go to sales to know for shure - I would not be able to get Forms Server without iAS although Forms server is a CGI.exe ...

don't stone me for this question :-), but can Forms Server 6i cooperate with Microsoft IIS to provide Forms over the Web?
