Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: MetaLink down again? (OFFTOPIC)
Actually, that's probably a combination of browser, client-side cache algorithm (or lack thereof), and the fact that the Metalink pages are written with EVIL frames.
Like when you click on "RELOAD" on your browser to refresh your iTAR...Doh!
If you're using IEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, you might wanna try Opera. It's a "free" (ad-splatting) browser from http://www.opera.com It's the only browser for Winders that I've seen that properly uses cached pages and images. (Why the hell do IEEEEEEEEE and Nutscrape need to contact a slow sight AGAIN if the stuff on my previous page is cached??!????!??? -- unless it's to retrieve the ad links...)
