Re: imp (import) problem

Joe,
There is not enough contigius free space in the tablespace DAILYCYCLE01A for the import to create the segment you are importing. Check the size of the segment on the original database and make sure you have the space available on the import server. You can always increate the size of the tablespace by increasing the size of the datafile or ading a datafile to the tablespace.

While importing a huge table (AIX) I get this problem: and the progam seems to hang up. Help! I'm still new to ORACLE databases.
