Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: Last Fri. of the Month ?
I asked exactly the same question a few weeks back. The following works
select trunc(decode(to_char(last_day(sysdate), 'day')
,'FRIDAY', last_day(sysdate)
,next_day(last_day(sysdate), 'FRIDAY') - 7))
from dual;
Regards
Lee
