I think the problem could be that that you listener has gone tit's up, your database can't register with it, the logs are full, the system had crashed, and lightning has struck the golfer in the field swinging his club wildley at a small orange ball stuck in the snow!
Really, we need a little more info to work on here, Oracle is not used in the sense that we KNOW EVERYTHING!!! Well maybe Patrice does ;)
