schema is nothing but the collection of individual body parts(tables,indexes,views,etc...) which when considered together as a single body identify you(user)

i have been learning oracle for 6 months and still have something not quite clear:
what is the difference between schema and user? and i am not clear about the usage of create schema,never used it in work.
