select a.table_name,a.column_name,a.data_type,a.data_length from user_tab_columns a,
user_tables b
where b.tablespace_name=upper('&tablespace_name') and a.table_name=b.table_name
;

Thankyou, that worked like a charm. What I should have also have asked though, is it possible to query the length of the field, ie: varchar2 300 (being the length)?
