Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: Oracle Enterprise Manager
The job will run on the operating system where the database resides =
using
the Intelligent Agent. You need to set your preferred credentials =
under
preferences under system in Enterprise Manager to an authenticated =
operating
system user for the node as well as an oracle user for the database. =
Can
the node where the job runs be in a different time zone?

Subject: Oracle Enterprise Manager
Hi,
I=B4m making a test using Oracle Enterprise Manager to schedule a =
very
simple job. The job just selects DBA_USERS. I created the job and
scheduled to run immediately. Then, two strange things came up when I
saw the history : first, the job ran two hours before (?????) and
second, it failed with the message
"VNI 2015 - Authentication error"
Can you tell me some reason for it??
Thanks in advanced,
Carlos
