hi.
maybe you should try with a user-defined function stored in database.
use trunc with 'd' to get the day number 1-7
then last_day will give you last day of the month.
if last day is friday ok, if it's saturday then friday was yesterday ( minus
1) and so on...

All,
Anyone know how I can select the last Friday in every month from dual. I just can't seem to figure this out. I am trying to test a job that needs to be submitted via dbms_job.isubmit on that day.
