My personal favorites are the top session monitor, otune32 (the utilities
that
can be found on Guy Harrison's web site), sqlplus and vmstat/iostat.
Statspack
and/or utlbstat/utlestat are also useful.

Subject: Opinions on Performance Tuning Software
Hi gurus
Has anyone had the privilege of test driving Savant Diagnostics, Precise SQL
and
Oracle Enterprise Manager and formed an opinion of which is the best?
Gaja don't respond to this : )
