It depends.
Is your filesystem VxFS or HFS? If it's HFS yes, you have a limit of 2GB.
If it's VxFS you can build the filesystem using SAM to allow large files.
AFAIK this is only a creation type thing. You need to rebuild the
filesystem if it is not set.

I am currently having an arguement with oracle tech suport and just wanted to make sure i wasn't wrong
Is there an file size limitation of an import?
i know there useed to be a 2 gig os limition on older systems but i am
trying to import a 14 gig dump file into oracle 8.1.7 64bit on hpux 11 64
bit.
