While third party application is runninng ON PRODUCTION, I m thinking to analyze tables so that I can populate chained_rows table to check whether there are chained rows or not.
I know this will slow down the performance for a while. Any experience of serious perofrmance degradation for doing this?Analyzing tables does not lock a table, which is already being used by a user - right!
Platform: Sun OS 5.6, Oracle 7.3.4
Any suggession will be highly appreciated.
