Replication

Environment:

Oracle 8.1.5.0.0. Compaq Tru64 UNIX
Oracle Transparent Gateway to DB2
DB2 database on an IBM mainframe

I presently copy data nightly from our IBM DB2 database into Oracle using 'complete' refresh snapshots. 'Fast' refreshes cannot be done because of the different database architectures. While this suffices for small dataset replication, we will soon have a requirement to transfer quite a bit of data (size undetermined at this time, other than 'lots'). Is there anyone out there doing this kind of thing between disparate databases? A software tool that may work? Any insights would be appreciated.
