I believe it's SunOS 5.7 and Solaris 7. A Sun instructor told me they = are
two different pieces of software. SunOS is the core operating system = and
Solaris is SunOS plus additional software. Someone correct me if I'm mistaken.=20

Earlier it was 2.6 that was called Solaris 6 . solaris 5.7 is also known as Solaris 7

Is there a difference between SunOS and Sun Solaris?=20
