Proxy Server and Sql*Net

I have a client running MS Proxy Server II.

They would like to find a way to allow a somewhat secure connect to their database via sql*net...

They tried a redirect of using a port xyz and passing that to the database as the listener port abc... The problem is the connect is made as port defgh, and this "redirect" has no idea what to do with it...

Has anyone else done this and how did you go about making it work?
