Oracle 8.1.6 on Linux - runInstaller issues

Hello all,

We are trying to install Oracle 8.1.6 one of our Linux boxes and at the time of runInstaller it's not responding and we got no choice but to kill it.

I am not getting any kind of error messages .. I could only see loading on the
installer and then it dies .

We have the following system

Red Hat Linux release 7.0 (Guinness)
Kernel 2.2.16-22 on a 2-processor i686

and I have all the pre install things done and looks ok.
