RE:Forms 3.0 on oracle 8i:-Urgeny

I know that there was Unix version of Dev2000 . I have seen the same on Solaris . If its a charactor based interface and can run on Unix , from Unix command line ( likes Forms 3.0 ) . I feel it can serve the purpose .

But this question comes in only if 3.0 cannot be run on 8.1.6 .
