Yes well, my Oracle support told me it's aq_tm_processes and it is used for
advanced queing.
The strange thing is that I don't have it (also don't want it) but it's
still there!
Do you have any idea?

May be some settings in your INIT file are starting this new process. Do you know which parameter starts this process?

I have Oracle 8.1.7 on AIX.
Yesterday when I wanted to shutdown my database with shutdown immediate,
It
took a very long time to do it (I know the reason). Problem is that this
process generated log:
