You might try the non-interactive installation. You would find more info = about it in
installation manual for Solaris which you could find on = technet.oracle.com

I think, witout the java components (OS), you may not be able to start = the installer,
even if you try export DISPLAY to other x-terminal...

Is it possible to install Oracle8.1.6 on Sun Sparc Solaris 2.6 without =
using X-Windows installed on it?

If yes, kindly let me know the steps.

I have gone thr' the installation guide and it says to set DISPLAY =
parameter for pre-setting in which we define X-server and screen type.
