OFFTOPIC Solaris8 CDE question

Hi List,



Sorry it's offtopic question, but I hope someone point me the right way. 
I have limited time to correct problem and our SA is not available at the
moment.



On Ultra workstation we have just connected 15'' monitor instead of 
20'' monitor which had been broken. 


Now we can't get clean picture in CDE. 


I would like to decrease the resolution & frequency in order to get clear
picture in CDE.


What things should I check?
