Deleting a table - Object dependencies

Hi,

I have to completely refresh a snapshot. I heard that complete refresh drops and re-creates the base table and the view (ORA 804). Now I want some clarifications:

  1. what happens to the referential integrity constraints defined on the table?
  2. What happens to the ojects that depend on this snapshot? like synonyms, packages etc.

In effect I want to ensure the status of the DB is same as that of before
the complete refresh. How do I do this? Is there any query which lists all
the dependent objects? (I tried dba_dependencies, it wont list synonyms).

Please help me out in this. Received on Fri Dec 22 2000 - 07:23:39 CST
