Thank you. I was running an EXP from a box with Oracle 8.1.7. Swapped the EXP.EXE to 8.1.6 all works fine.

Hi,
I have a problem when using EXP command from a NT Client. The command works fine from a VMS Client (Oracle8.1.6) and  from NT Console but fails
 from a NT Client with errors:
 EXP-00008:oracle error 904 encountered  ORA-00904:invalid column name

I am using ORACLE8.1.6.2 on NT SP5.
The database has been exported under Oracle 7.3.4 and Imported into ORACLE 8.1.6.2
