The problem was expected to start with the year 2000, when entering it as 00. Some computers and software would not understand this as 2000, instead would consider this as 1900 this would cause all date base calculations to go wrong. A person who is to give a profit for 1 year would get for 101 years and so on. Hope you imagine it.

If your systems are running fine for 2000, the would definitely run fine for 2001.
