Thanks for the reply. The one client has both the versions of SQL-PLUS =
loaded on it. The regional setting and the registry have been checked. I =
might be missing something with the registry check but I think I got them =
all.

I thought both of them running on NT and this problem seems to be related =
with O/S configuration .
Did you check and compare the regional settings of these machines.
