newbie question re creating reports on Unix

I need to create and print reports that use a variety of fonts and
styles...bold...italics etc.



What is my best option?....Oracle reports? The reports need to be generated
from AIX shell scripts run in batch overnight. Can Oracle reports be run in
batch...I presume so...
